Sexual abuse in medical system 'on same scale as church'

Sexual abuse in the medical system is as widespread as in the Catholic church, a support group for patients has claimed today.

"Sexual exploitation of patients has happened, I would say, on the same scale as has happened in the church, and will continue to happen, until the Government have an inquiry and make the same policy changes as they've made in other areas," said executive director of Dignity 4 Patients Bernadette Sullivan.
