Carlow town to bury farming neighbours today

The funerals take place later of two farmers found dead in Carlow last week.

The bodies of 52-year-old Michael Jordan and 71-year-old George Rothwell were discovered on their adjoining farms in Bagenalstown on Wednesday morning.

Mr Jordan's funeral will be held at St Andrew's Catholic Church in the town this morning, while Mr Rothwell will be laid to rest after a funeral service in the Protestant Church of Lorum this afternoon.
