IWT calls for investigation after seals found shot

Two grey seals, which are a protected species, have been put down after being found in Co. Waterford with gunshot wounds.

The Irish Wildlife Trust has said the seals swam ashore on Tuesday having been shot near Tramore.

The IWT has called for an investigation into the matter.
