Cyclist hospitalised following Dublin accident

A 42-year-old woman is in a serious condition in hospital after a crash in Dublin this morning.

The woman was riding a bicycle which collided with an articulated lorry on the Swords Road near the main roundabout at Dublin Airport at about 7.30am.

The victim was brought to Beaumont Hospital with serious injuries while the truck driver was unhurt.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
