PSNI investigate alleged sexual assault in Derry

Police in Derry are investigating reports of a serious sexual assault.

Detectives believe a young woman may have been raped by an unknown man, between 12.30am and 1.15am, in the Shipquay Street/Magazine Street area of the city.

The suspect is described as being approximately 20 years old, five foot six inches tall with a slim build, short fair hair spiked at the front and having a local Derry accent.
