Taoiseach and President to meet China's Vice President
The Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, and the president Michael D Higgins will today meet with China's Vice President, as he embarks on day two of a historic visit to Ireland.
Day two of Xi Jin-ping's official visit to Ireland will focus on agriculture and tourism.
The Chinese Vice President is due to visit Lynch's Farm in Sixmilebridge in Co. Clare, as well as a trip to the Cliffs of Moher.
He will then travel to Dublin to watch a GAA match, before attending a dinner this evening in Dublin Castle, with the Taoiseach, Enda Kenny.
Tomorrow, China's leader-in-waiting will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Government to enhance international trade relations between Ireland and China.
