Mother of shooting victim calls for tougher crime laws

The mother of Anthony Campbell - a young plumber who was shot dead after witnessing the killing of Dublin criminal Marlo Hyland - is calling for tougher laws on gangland crime.
It follows the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Melanie McCarthy McNamara last week, which has prompted calls for tougher legislation, including internment.
Christine Campell agrees because she believes she will never get justice otherwise.
"I did live in hope that I would get justice but now I know that I am not going to," Mrs Campbell said.
"When you live with it every day like I do, you just know… Five years into it now and I didn't get anything.
"I'll tell you what I got - 21 arrests but no-one brought to justice."
