Gardaí are today making a fresh appeal for information on a missing Limerick man as the 12th anniversary of his disappearance approaches.

Aengus 'Gussie' Shanahan left his job at Dell on the afternoon of Friday February 11, 2000 and went to Coopers bar on Saint Joseph Street in the city with friends.

He had arranged to stay with friends that night but left the pub on his own at 10.30 pm and was not seen since.

He is 5' 10" with a thin build, a pale complexion and fair hair, which was cut short at the time.

Gardaí are urging anyone with information to contact Roxboro Road garda station at 061 214340, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111, or any Garda station.
