Vigil to remember teenager found in shallow grave
A Romanian teenager, whose remains were found in a shallow grave in the Wicklow Mountains last month, is being remembered in Dublin this evening.
Pavee Point has organised a candle-lit vigil in the city centre for Mariora Rostas, which is taking place at 6pm.
It is to coincide with her funeral in Romania.
The 18-year old's remains were discovered near the Kippure estate and gardaà believe that she was assaulted before being killed and her body then hidden in the Wicklow Mountains.
The last-known sighting of Mariora was in January 2008. She had been in Ireland just three weeks when she disappeared.
