Gardaí arrest two after raiding cannabis grow-house

Two men have been arrested in County Westmeath after gardaí found cannabis plants at a grow-house in an industrial unit in Mullingar.

An estimated €500,000 worth of cannabis plants were discovered when gardaí raided the building yesterday afternoon.

The men, aged 37 and 42, are being held for questioning at Mullingar Garda Station.

The raid is part of an ongoing operation targeting the cultivation of illegal drugs in the Mullingar area.
