Ireland sees fall in numbers of immigrants

The number of immigrants in Ireland is falling, but a group that works closely with new arrivals has said it is evident those who are here want to stay.

Almost 50,000 people approached the Immigrant Council of Ireland for help and information last year - the majority of queries related to Irish law.
