Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform Brendan Howlin said today that the public service retirement scheme will have no impact on frontline services - if workers and managers co-operate.

Almost 8,000 public sector workers have availed of the scheme, sparking concern that the retirement of key workers will negatively impact on services.
