Taoiseach to ask AG to advise on fiscal treaty

Taoiseach Enda Kenny will this morning formally ask the Attorney General for advice on whether Ireland should hold a referendum on the new EU fiscal treaty.

The deal finalised in Brussels last night aims to impose German-style budget discipline on all EU member states.
