Cork gardaí release woman questioned in connection with Forrister murder
Gardaí have released without charge a woman they were questioning in connection with the murder of a man in Bandon last year.
The 35-year-old woman was arrested in East Cork yesterday morning for questioning in connection with the murder of John Forrister last November.
She was questioned at Bandon garda station for more than16 hours. Gardaí say they will now prepare a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Meanwhile, gardaí are continuing to question a 37-year-old man arrested yesterday in Cork city in connection with the same killing.
He is being held at Bandon garda station.
