Forrister murder: Gardaí question two

Gardaí are continuing to question a man and a woman in Co Cork in connection with the murder of John Forrister on November 15 last.

A post-mortem examination found he had died a violent death, after his body was taken from the River Bandon.

Mr Forrister, who is originally from England, suffered stab wounds to the neck and head.

Gardaí arrested a 35-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man yesterday morning. They are being questioned at Bandon garda station.
