The Irish Cancer Society is setting up six new Daffodil Centres across this country over the next year, it was announced today.

The Irish Cancer Society is setting up six new Daffodil Centres across this country over the next year, it was announced today.

The organisation has confirmed that it is investing €3.6m in the centres, which provide information and support to cancer sufferers and their families in seven hospitals around the country.

This investment will see the roll-out of new centres at six hospitals, which will be staffed by specialist nurses and volunteers.
