Hospital manager disputes claim unit will open in summer

There seems to be confusion over the status of a new multi-million euro medical block at one of the country's busiest hospitals after the hospital manager said Government claims of its summer opening were news to him.

The new €22m medical block at Letterkenny General Hospital has been almost complete for over a year, but its opening has been delayed due to the contractor going bust.
