Elderly man hit by truck

A man in his 70s has been hit by a truck in Dublin today.

The accident happened on Griffith Avenue in Drumcondra between the junctions at Malahide Road and Philipsburgh Avenue.

Gardaí and emergency services are at the scene, Motorists are being advised that the road is closed in both directions.
