Divers hopeful of accessing trawler wreck
Navy divers are said to be hopeful of gaining access to the wreck of the trawler which sank off West Cork on Sunday.
Bad weather has so far prevented them from conducting a through examination of the Tit Bonhomme which is located just off Union Hall.
Five members of its crew are still missing and their families believe some of them may have become trapped on board after the vessel struck rocks.
The Coastguard have said the search of the surrounding waters and shoreline is also continuing.
Coastguard spokesman Gerald O'Flynn has said a change in wind direction should allow divers to safely approach the wreck for the first time.
