Gilmore denies Govt seeking changes to EU Treaty

The Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore is denying the Government is demanding changes to the proposed Inter-Governmental Treaty in order to avoid a referendum here.

Mr Gilmore has told the Dáil that, despite a number of rewrites of a draft presented before Christmas, it is still "a work in progress".
