PSNI charge three after Co Down death

Police in the North have arrested and charged three people in connection with the death of man in Co Down last week.

Detectives charged two men, aged 26 and 24, with murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

A third man has been charged with murder, possession of a fireman and threats to kill.

All of them are to appear in Newtownards Magistrates Court tomorrow.

It is believed the charges relate to the murder Philip Strickland in Cumber last Wednesday.
