Navy detains British fishing boat

The naval vessel the LE Aisling has detained a British-registered fishing vessel for an alleged breach of fishing regulations.

The vessel was detained 180 miles west of the Skelligs last night.

It is currently hauling its nets and will then proceed under escort by the navy to Castletownbere.
