Laois man picks up €350,000 Lotto cheque

A delighted Laois man had plenty to smile about today as he picked up a cheque for €350,000 in the National Lottery offices.

The lucky man won the top prize in the Lotto Plus 1 draw on Christmas Eve.

The €6 Quick Pick ticket was bought in Newscorner, Dunnes Stores Shopping Centre, Tullamore, Co Offaly on the day of the draw.

The man, who wishes to keep the win private, is a regular Lotto player.
