Man arrested after nursing-home death was known to victim

Gardaí have launched a murder investigation, following the death of a woman at a nursing home in Waterford.

Eighty-two-year-old Veronica Vollrath was found dead in her room yesterday morning by staff at Killure Bridge Nursing Home, where she was a resident.
