The operation to transfer 54,000 tonnes of oil from a damaged tanker at the mouth of Belfast Lough is over.

Repairs to the Genmar Companion, which has a cracked deck, are due to begin soon.

The oil transfer, which began on Friday night, was halted for a period due to strong winds but resumed yesterday.
