Man arrested in connection with Arklow post office raid

A man has been arrested in connection with the attempted armed robbery of a post office in Arklow, Co Wicklow yesterday.

The 25-year-old was arrested yesterday evening and is being held under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Wicklow Garda Station, gardaí said.
