Man killed in Mayo crash

A 52-year-old man has died after a crash in Co Mayo.

The man was a passenger in a car which crashed at Kilsallagh around four miles from Louisburgh on the Westport to Louisburgh Road, at about 12.30am today.

The 23-year-old driver and another passenger - who is 19 - were uninjured.

The road remains closed while a technical examination is carried out. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
