Officers from Revenue's Customs Service have seized 26,540 cigarettes at Dublin Airport with an estimated value of €11,500.

Two Lithuanians and a Romanian, all in their twenties and believed to be operating as part of an Eastern European cigarette smuggling gang, were stopped and searched by officers having arrived on a flight from Zurich in Switzerland.
