Two Dublin hospitals issue Winter Vomiting alert
Two Dublin hospitals have been struck down with the winter vomiting bug.
Beaumont and St Vincents Hospital have issued a warning to visitors to stay clear unless a trip is unavoidable.
Up to 59 cases have been identified at St Vincents hospital, of which 15 are still active.
The facility has been forced to close 19 beds and 29 staff have also been affected.
Management at St. Vincent's is appealing to the public not to attend the Emergency Department unless absolutely essential and not to bring children to the hospital.
