Man injured in Co Kildare shooting
A Polish man has been injured in a shooting in Celbridge, Co Kildare.
Gardaí at Celbridge Garda Station are seeking witnesses to the shooting in the town yesterday evening.
It took place outside a house on Oldtown Road, Celbridge (opposite Scoil Na Mainistreach) at about 11pm.
A 36-year-old Polish man was shot in the leg as he left his home and Gardaí believe a shotgun was used in the incident.
The injured man was removed to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.
Gardaí have asked that anyone who was in the Oldtown Road area of Celbridge last night between 10.30pm and 11.30 pm to contact Celbridge Garda Station on 01 601 2370.
