ICTU pledges support for Cork sit-in

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions has pledged support for the Vita Cortex workers in their ongoing campaign to secure redundancy entitlements.

A sit-in of the 32 workers at the Cork plant has been ongoing for the past 10 days, after staff were told they were losing their jobs but would not receive redundancy payments.
