Cork drugs seizure: Man due in court

A man is due in court this evening in connection with a drugs seizure made this week by gardaí in Cork.

During the operation yesterday evening, a house was searched in the Dillons Cross area of the city.

Herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €250,000 (subject to analysis) was seized.

Two men aged in their 30s and 40s were arrested as part of the investigation.

The man in his 30s was released yesterday without charge.

The second man will appear before a special sitting of Cork District Court at 7pm this evening.
