Aer Lingus announces new Cork to Brussels route
Aer Lingus today announced the addition of a new Cork to Brussels route to its 2012 summer schedule.
The service will fly three times per week to the Belgian capital from March 26, Aer Lingus said.
The addition brings to 24 the number of routes operated by Aer Lingus from Cork.
Aer Lingus recently announced that it is increasing frequencies on its Cork to Amsterdam and Cork to Faro services.
"Brussels has been a very popular destination for Irish tourists and business people for many years," said Director of Communications at Aer Lingus, Declan Kearney.
"In recent years it’s also a market in which we’ve experienced increased inbound traffic to Ireland, so we’re very excited about this new route’s potential to bring increased visitors to Cork and the Munster region.”
