Retailer to create 150 new jobs with expansion

Carraig Donn has announced the creation of 150 new jobs with the expansion of its retail, manufacturing and online businesses.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny visited the company's headquarters in Westport, Co Mayo today where the job creation plans were announced.

Carraig Donn says that 57 of the jobs have already been created this year with the opening of six new stores and its online shopping site.

The firm, which now has 28 retail stores across the country, already employs 357 people and that number is expected to grow to 450 within the next 18 months.
