A 19-year-old Dublin man will be sentenced today for the murder of 12-year-old schoolgirl Michaela Davis.

A 19-year-old Dublin man will be sentenced today for the murder of 12-year-old schoolgirl Michaela Davis.

Last month, Jonathan Byrne of Lohunda Downs in Clonsilla, pleaded guilty to her murder at the playing fields on Porterstown Road and also admitted two other serious offences.

He will be formally sentenced to life imprisonment at the Central Criminal Court this afternoon.
