Union to protest cuts to CE schemes

A rally to protest proposed Budget cuts to Community Employment (CE) schemes will take place at 2pm at Dáil Éireann today.

The Government has already parked a proposed budgetary cut in disability payments, announced earlier in the week.

In the aftermath of that decision, it is understood that the Government may also look again at proposed cuts to community employment schemes.
