Groups urge one-parent families to protest Budget cuts

One-parent families are being asked to attend a meeting next week to mobilise against several Budget cuts announced this week.

A coalition of groups has come together today to represent the interests of lone parents in Ireland, insisting that the cumulative effects of Budget 2012 will hit this group very hard.
