Budget cuts will hit 'most marginalised' most

Focus Ireland has warned that the Budget cuts to rent supplement will make it even more difficult for people who are homeless to get access to accommodation.

The Department of Social Protection is imposing a 25% increase on the contribution single tenants make towards their rent, rising from the existing weekly contribution of €24 to €30 per week.
