Adams calls on backbenchers to rebel against Budget measures

Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams has called on disgruntled Fine Gael and Labour backbenchers to rebel over the Government’s austerity measures.
The Co Louth TD, who branded Public Expenditure Minister Brendan Howlin and Finance Minister Michael Noonan “Scrooge and Scrooger”, said TDs need to take a stand against the unfair spending cuts and tax hikes.
