SF: Local govt services may close within 12 months after 84% cut

Sinn Féin has slammed the Government's planned 84% cut in local authority funding in today's Budget.

The party's spokesperson on the environment, community and local government, Brian Stanley, said the Government is "strangling communities and local government services with cuts totalling €190m".
