Schools: Transport charge to be doubled

The primary school transport charge is to be doubled from €50 to €100 per child, with the maximum payment per family doubled to €220.

The pupil-teacher ratio will increase from 20:1 to 21:1 in private, fee-paying schools over the next school year.
