Bailey extradition appeal set for January

Ian Bailey's Supreme Court appeal against his extradition to France has been given an urgent hearing date next month.

The former journalist is wanted for questioning in France in connection with the 1996 murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier - but his lawyers claim new evidence reveals the original investigation is tainted.
