Man arrested in connection with Wicklow drugs find

A man has been arrested after gardaí discovered almost €500,000 worth of drugs in Co Wicklow.

Officers from Bray searched an Industrial Unit near Delgany yesterday afternoon, where they discovered a substantial cannabis cultivation operation.

Around 1,000 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €400,000 were seized.

A man in his 30s, arrested at the scene, is being held at Bray Garda station, under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
