Man remanded on firearms charges

A man in his 20s has been remanded in custody with consent to bail on two charges of the unlawful possession of handguns.

Carl Maher (aged 27) of 3 Redwood Avenue, Kilnamanagh, Tallaght, Co. Dublin, appeared before Bray District Court in County Wicklow today, following a firearms seizure yesterday.
