No jail for man who assaulted friend's teenage son

A man who worked as a rent boy after spending time in an industrial school has escaped jail for sexually assaulting his friend's teenage son.

The court heard the 44-year-old man who lives in Kildare abused the boy while babysitting and when taking him on forest walks and fishing trips.
