The trial of a man accused of murdering his friend has reached its closing stages at the Central Criminal Court.

Thomas O’Connor (aged 24), of Burnaby Court, Greystones, Co. Wicklow has pleaded not guilty to murdering John O’Brien at Farrankelly Road, Delgany on June 4, 2010.

The prosecution has concluded its evidence before a jury of six men and six women presided over by Mr Justice Barry White.
