Byrne gets another five years at RSA helm

Gay Byrne has been re-appointed as the Chairman of the Road Safety Authority.

The Transport Minister Leo Varadkar said the broadcaster has worked tirelessly to promote road safety over the last five years, fulfilling his duties in an exemplary manner.

Gay Byrne will serve as RSA Chairman for another five-year term.
