More than 100 hi-tech jobs announced for Limerick and Dublin

More than a hundred new jobs are being announced in the technology sector today in counties Dublin and Limerick.

Software developer, Misys, is investing €5m to establish a new Research and Development facility in the capital, where 35 positions will come on stream.

The firm already employs more than a hundred people at its two software development centres.

Most of the new positions will go to software engineering professionals, while the others will be software consultancy roles.

Elsewhere, 69 new jobs are being announced at ON-Semiconductor in Limerick, details of which will be revealed later today.
