Fire fighters call for uniform system of call-out charges

SIPTU fire fighters in Dublin are calling on the Government to introduce a uniform system when it comes to fire service call-out charges.

It has been speculated that Dublin City Council are planning to introduce a call out charge to householders who phone the emergency fire service, a move which SIPTU fire fighters say could endanger lives.
