Threshold: Universal cut to Rent allowance will increase homelessness

The chairperson of the national housing charity Threshold has said a universal cut to the Rent Allowance scheme could make vulnerable people homeless.

The Government has confirmed that it is considering reforming the scheme in next month's budget.
